What is LATISSE®?

LATISSE® is a once-daily prescription treatment (available only through a doctor) approved by the FDA to use as a treatment for eyelash hypotrichosis, which is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

It is applied to the base of the upper eyelashes with a sterile, single-use-per-eye disposable applicator. With regular applications along the lash line of the upper eyelid, Latisse gradually enhances eyelash prominence by increases in length, thickness and darkness of eyelashes.

Users can expect to experience longer, fuller and darker eyelashes in as little as eight weeks, with full results in 16 weeks.

LATISSE® is not for everyone, as a prescription medication you need to talk to a doctor. You should not use it if you are allergic to one of its ingredients. If you use or have used prescription products for eye pressure problems, use this treatment only under doctor care. Common side effects include itchy and red eyes.

To maintain effect, continued treatment is required. If use of LATISSE® is discontinued, eyelashes will gradually return to where they were prior to treatment over a period of weeks to months.
